Moonlight Audit

[Musical intro - saxophone solo, ending on G#]

[Intro - English]
The moon doesn’t ask questions.
It just shines on the pages I’ve hidden.
Tonight challenges my truth.
Tonight, I audit my silences.

[Verse 1 - English]
I said “I’m fine” when I wasn’t.
I laughed when I should’ve screamed.
I let them name me, frame me, tame me.
And I signed every dotted line.

[Chorus - Hindi]
Chand ki roshni mein hisaab hua
Har khamoshi ka jawab hua
Jo khud se nazar churayi thi
Woh roshni ne dikhayi thi

[Saxophone solo, ending on G#]

[Verse 2 - English]
I had traded truth for peace.
I wore pride like perfume—strong, but fleeting.
I let shame settle like dust
Until it became part of my lies.

[Chorus - Hindi]
Chand ki roshni mein hisaab hua
Har khamoshi ka jawab hua
Jo khud se nazar churayi thi
Woh roshni ne dikhayi thi

[Saxophone solo, ending on G#]

[Bridge - mixed]
This ledger has no totals.
Just entries—some bleeding, some fading.
Gunah likhe na gaye thay,
Per mehsoos karaaye gaye!

[Outro - mixed]
All those secrets I hid in shadows,
The moonlight blew them open.
Hisaab ab bhi adhoora hai,
Per roshni tho poori hai!

[Saxophone solo, ending on G#]

-- Pradeep K (Prady)

Style:
A-minor, E-minor. Soft Rock. Breathy tenor Saxophone. Ambient textures. The vocal phrasing should often resolve on black keys (e.g., F#, G#, C#), creating emotional tension and unresolved cadence. Avoid full harmonic resolution; let the melody linger in ambiguity.
