See

Look... Observe... See!
How every pebble in the universe
Is an integral part of Reality!
How all is one.

No dividing lines,
No discrimination.
No judgment,
No isolation!

No, not even a fallacy
Ever becomes a question.
For, if you dare ask,
Then shall it be answered!

The one precondition:
The willingness to learn
At the cost of what you
Might happily hold dear.

An answer unexpected
Is not unauthorized,
May not please your friends
Nor upset your foes.

Like it or not,
An answer just answers.
Don’t ask if you are not ready!
Just look... Observe... See...

Hearts of Faith

Build them no temple; build them no mosque
Build them no holy abode with your dirt!
If you want them to pray, then let them pray chaste
Build them not walls, but build them a heart!

Build them a heart, and fill it with love
So much love, that they beg you to stop!
If you want my faith, that is easy to get
Give me not myth; just give me the truth!

Life will speak for itself in silence
Truth will recognize itself in silence!
Don’t ring those bells; don’t yell those hymns
You don’t need all that noise to know!

Stir them to listen, if you know how,
Stir them to listen to the sound of silence!
If you want them to see, let them see for themselves
Let them listen to the voice deep within!

Build them a heart, and fill it with love
Love knows no barriers; it knows only faith!
If you want my faith, that is easy to get
Show me not shrines, but show me your heart!

Healing Time

Time, they say, heals all wounds. I strongly disagree. Time is indeed a factor involved in the healing process, but it is not the cure in itself.
__________

It’s only been a while now
that I was run over by a train.
Give me a little more time
to collect my bits up again.

It’s only been a while now,
and I’m still fighting the pain.
Give me a little more time
to gather my soul up again.

It’s only been a while now,
and I’m sure that I’ll sing again.
Just let me find my voice, and
the rhythm will return in time.

It’s only been a while now;
I’ve forgotten how to smile now.
So give me a little more time,
and maybe a little more time.

It’s only been a while now (It’s only been a while)
that I was run over by a train (I’m still fighting the pain)
I’ve forgotten how to smile now (Forgotten how to smile)

But I’m sure that I’ll sing again (The rhythm will return)
So give me a little more time (Just a little more time)
And maybe a little more time (Yeah, a little more time)
__________

I had written the above lines a few months ago, and had immediately started wondering why I had written them. When I read it back today, it made more sense.

Cheers everyone! :)

Strength

Strength is not holding back tears.
Strength is acknowledging tears.
Courage is not being without fear.
Courage is being despite fear.

Sometimes words fail, and tears
speak very loud, and very clear.

Emotions are natural.
The shower of tears,
the thunder of laughter,
all simply natural.

Crying is okay; it is not at all wrong.
Don't think that those who never cry are strong.
And don't consider yourself a weakling if you cry.
Hold no fears; shed those tears; you will not die.

Sadness

Feeling very sad about a lot of things.
A gnawing sensaton, in my heart, rings.
Inexplicable, strange, making little sense.
Want of affection seems to be a penal offense!

Under the guise of praise, a verbal sarcasm.
Punished by Shadow, flung into the Chasm.
The depth that I love and, as my own, cherish.
Now estranged, I have fallen in to perish.

I bow to thee, O silent assassin.
Give me but one gamble to win.
I bow to thee, O Chasm, deep.
At least a hug before I sleep.
